1 cup sugar 1 1/3 cups unsweetened orange juice 1 1/3 cups fresh orange sections (about 4 medium oranges) Directions: Combine sugar and orange juice in a large nonaluminum saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook 20 to 25 minutes or until reduced to 1 cup, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in orange sections. Serve warm or chilled with pancakes or over angel food cake. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Yield: 2 cups. |
