Broccoli Au Gratin

2 packages (10 ounce size) frozen broccoli spears or 2 pounds fresh 4 tablespoons butter or margarine 1/3 cup soft white bread crumbs 4 teaspoons lemon juice Directions: Cook broccoli as package label directs. Meanwhile, slowly heat 1 tablespoon butter in small skillet. Add bread crumbs, and sauté until golden brown. Remove crumbs and set aside. In same skillet, melt remaining butter with lemon juice. Drain broccoli. Add lemon butter; toss gently until evenly coated. Turn out into serving dish; sprinkle with browned crumbs. Serves 6. |
