Strawberry Vinegar

1 cup small ripe strawberries, hulled
1 12 to 14 ounce bottle white wine vinegar

Directions:
Combine the hulled strawberries and the bottle of white wine vinegar in a glass jar or bowl. Cover tightly and let the strawberry vinegar mixture stand at room temperature for 3 days.

Strain the mixture through a fine sieve and then pour the strawberry vinegar into a clean container. Cover tightly and store in a cool, dark place.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
