Hazelnut-Orange Sauce
Bon Appetit

3/4 stick (6 tablespoons) unsalted butter
1/2 cup hazelnuts (or almonds), chopped coarsely
grated zest (outer rind only) of 1/2 orange
orange juice as needed
1 to 2 tablespoons orange flavored liqueur (optional)


Directions:
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then toast the nuts, tossing them in the butter for 5 or 6 minutes, or until lightly golden. Add the orange zest, toss for a minute, then add a splash of orange juice. Swirl to blend, then remove from the heat.

Add the optional liqueur. Great with asparagus.

Serves 4.
